Reader's Block

You know that thing they call writer's block, well I think I have a case of it, only it's reader's block. Like I have a TON of books I need to read and review and such, but I can't seem to sit myself down and read them. I don't know if it's that they're so many I can't decide where to start from (although I do have a one that needs to be read by this month) OR maybe I'm just lazy--which is probably it. It's like the mood just isn't set right. But how do you get out of reader's block, if you've ever found yourself in it?

Oh man! I've had that before!! It sucks, I also have a lot of books to get to and some I really should read for school and I just can't get into them, I have no idea why, but it may just be laziness hehe What you said about the mood though, I kinda think that may be it and also sometimes I just can't decide which to read first :D I hope you get rid of your reader's block hehe happy holidays!

I know how you feel. It can be quite annoying and thankfully I haven't had it in awhile...I guess just try and not think about it much and at some point you might start really wanting to read something and you'll be good to go! Not much advice, I know, but that's what happened to me..

I do that also. I'll have a ton of books to chose from, but nothing will hold my interest very long. It usually takes me a week of being in a funk before I get back into something and then devour it because my brain is starving haha.

Awhile ago I got out of the habit of reading and it was really hard to get back into! But for temporary things like this, I'd say enjoy your other interests for awhile, maybe watch a few movies listen to some music and I think soon enough you'll want to read :)

UGH! I Have this all the time and it bugs the heck out of me! I start one, go halfway through, decide I'm bored....I usually just go to the library. Or wait a couple of days until the reader's block goes away. (: I also just flip through my reviewing copies, and if one seems especially interesting, then I pick it up and read.

It's been happening for a while now, I think it's laziness.

Lucky, it's been killing me. I'll try not to think about it. That usually works with other problems I get.

Mine is like begging to be fed. I'm just lazy and it sucks! lol

My Bro and Sis are in for the holidays, hopefully I can put them into good use here.. lol

I think I might have to do that. But then I feel bad cause I feel like I'm obliged to read a certain one first, but it's the one that I'm not really getting into. I don't know. But I don't want to finish it and give it a bad review, when it's like it was my fault cause I just wasn't in the mood. I think that's what happened with Frenemies. I don't know.
