There's this old saying that you learn something new everyday and I learned something new today. anagram
I had never heard of that work before. I read it over at John Green's website [I figured it was time I saw what all the talk was about] and I had no clue what he was talking about. I had to dictionary search it. But I'm glad I did cause it just adds to my knowledge. An anagram is a word that can be rearranged into another word or a mumble of letters that need to be arranged into a word. I guess it's kind of like how you can wirte a word and mix up the letters in the middle and still raed it as it shulod be spelled. It's like your brian autamotacilly recingozes the actual word. It's pretty cool. Not knowing what ANAGRAM meant got me to thinking though. From what I've read, most people say that John Green doesn't "dumb" things down in his books. If I didn't know what anagram meant, imagine what it'd be like, for me, to read an entire book of his. I'd be reading the dictionary too. lol. Which brings me to point out those SAT Vocabulary Novels. That's pretty cool how they have all those big words in a YA book that we can relate to. A friend read one of them and said it was really good. I'm just started on Busted, it's the first book in the series. So far, so good and I've learned some new big words [if only anagram had been one of them. lol]. I just thought I'd share that little tid-bit with you.
